"Faith and Fear never reside in the same place!"
Always remember that Faith and Fear do not occupy the same space! It isn't possible... the slightest inkling of fear that sneaks in immediately pushes every bit of hope and faith out. Our thoughts are so powerful. Everything we ever imagine is already out there waiting for us. We can only hold one thought at a time, so its important that we pick that one thought wisely and try to guard the things that enter into our mind at all times. When you choose to hold onto a negative thought or emotion you are willingly choosing to become a slave to the person whom it is against or the negative emotion. Chances are the person or thing that is bothering you doesn't even know or care. Why would you give that kind of control to anyone else?
By guarding your thoughts... you are starting a new path into a happier and healthier life style. It will be harder in the beginning, but if you keep at it, you will succeed. Light and dark also cannot occupy the same space... light always wins. You cannot turn on the dark to turn off the light, it's impossible. A positive thought or the act of Faith will always conquer the Fear and negativity in our lives.

Energy
This is an amazing article on Energy Work and what it is. A great way to explain what is taking place and happening during an energy correction. If you have any questions, please feel free to ask!!
Energy Correction « Mind Body and Sole
Dr. Emoto had long wondered if there were methods of expressing the difference in the nature of water. He knew that water from a natural spring, for example, was better for you than tap water or stagnant water. When Dr. Emoto read in a children's book that no two snowflakes have the same shape, he thought that the same thing must apply to frozen water crystals. Dr. Emoto wondered if he could develop a way to photograph frozen water crystals. Does water have messages for us? Can we develop ways to receive those messages from water?
So after much trial and error, Dr. Emoto developed a process in which he would freeze drops of water and take photographs of individual water crystals that formed. He found that his theory was correct: like snowflakes, every water crystal is unique. But he learned much more than that. Dr. Emoto found that you could tell much about the nature of the water by photographing it in this way, and more importantly, that, as human beings, we can change the nature of water in many ways. Water truly does have powerful messages for us.
One of the first things that Dr. Emoto learned was that all water does not form beautiful crystals. He tested tap water from around the world and found that tap water does not form water crystals. Stagnant or polluted water does not form water crystals either, but forms unpleasant, deformed frozen structures. Rainwater, water from clean streams and rivers, water from glaciers, and water from holy places around the world form beautiful crystals when frozen.
Then he wondered if we, as human beings, can change the nature of water, so he tried many techniques to test this. Dr. Emoto found that if he played beautiful music in the presence of tap water, it would then make beautiful frozen crystal formations. He also learned that the written word changed the water. Dr. Emoto taped paper strips on bottles of tap water and then photographed the frozen water. He found that words such as "Thank you," and "I love you," caused the tap water to form beautiful crystals (see picture at left). Words such as "You make me sick," or "You are a fool," caused ugly, distorted crystals or no crystals at all. Dr. Emoto then found that we can cause tap water to form beautiful frozen water crystals simply by praying for the water, by sending it loving thoughts, and by blessing it.
With negative thoughts and emotions, we put what dowsers call "detrimental energies" into our own beings and into our living environments. Positive, joy-filled thoughts and emotions put beneficial energies into our beings and into our living environment. Most of us are unconsciously surrounding and filling ourselves with what we don't want in our lives: what we fear and what makes us angry. Then we unwittingly attract what we don't want into our lives. Once you understand this, you can take charge of the process.
You can learn to use prayerful intent to put beneficial energies into your body, into substances, such as food and water, into objects, such as jewelry, and into your living environment. You can bless things with unique energy vibrations as defined by your intent You can also change detrimental energies into beneficial energies, all with the power of prayer and blessing. You can literally learn to surround yourself with what you desire to bring into to your life rather than what you fear.

Filling your bucket...
We live in a world of chaos and running from one thing to another. Trying to keep our heads above water, we often forget to take time for us. If someone asked you WHO YOU ARE.... what would you answer?? I'm a Mother, Father... I'm a daughter, son... I work here, or do this for a living... I play volleyball, or am a senior in high school. I'm sure these are a few things that come to your mind. But WHO ARE YOU really?? Not what you do, or a title that has been put upon you. But deep down what is it that makes you tick. What makes you leave an impact on this world?
Many times in life we forget to take time to enjoy each individual second. What a blessing it is that we have that very second! We are so wrapped up in keeping things clean, running the kids here and there, cooking dinner, going to work, keeping the yard up, doing homework, or winning the next game that we forget to play! We forget to have fun.
I picture our give source as a bucket of water. Everyone close to you has a ladle for which they scoop the water out of your bucket. "Mom I need this", or "Honey can you fix this." It's the water that we serve others with. Sadly enough though, if you don't dip that bucket full of water quite frequently, you will run dry very quickly. I have felt like this before. When there just isn't anything else to give! You are so run down and worn out from giving everything you have to everyone that is demanding it of you. Sometimes even that bucket can get so dry that it starts to wear a hole in the bottom, to a point wear it really takes a lot to hold water at all.
So what can we do to not have this problem? How can we fill our buckets up enough so we don't feel like we are running dry or even on empty all the time? The answer is simple.... TAKE TIME FOR YOU! You need that time as bad as everyone else does. You need to take time doing something you love. Something that makes you smile, rejuvenates you in a way so you do feel refreshed and full again. It can be as simple as going for a walk, reading a book, going hunting for the morning, or even just a long drive alone to think. It is so important that we do this so our buckets don't get run down and broken to the point we can't help or keep up with anything. As I have been foot zoning several people the past few months I noticed how many of us really struggle with this. It's almost like we feel guilty to take time for us. STOP.... you should feel guilty if you don't! If you are not in a state to help those around you, it hurts them also. This reminds me of a childhood quote I saw on my friends fridge. It stated, "If momma ain't happy... ain't nobody happy! " Isn't this the truth! Help those out that are dearest to you by taking the time for you!
So what happens if you try to do something for you, but it has been so long that you don't even remember what it is that you enjoy. This is when your bucket has become broken. You just simply don't remember how to put water back into it. This may seem strange to even think has possible happened, but I have seen it at this point. Plain and simple, it is TIME!
Time to figure out what used to make you smile, what you used to enjoy. And if you can't think of anything, then find some new hobbies. Things that you can discover with your spouse or family to make memories together. One of the biggest way I fill my bucket is taking the time to laugh and play with my kids. Their sweet spirits do it every time!! Make a list of ideas and then try and do one thing a week just to fill your bucket!
Here's a list of ideas for those that may need a jump start at remembering or discovering new ideas to have fun.
Hike to a river or cave in your area
Go to a park and swing
Build a sand castle, or snowman
Go camping
Read a book
Have a bubble bath (with chocolate of course)
Sing out loud
Dance
Woodworking
Craft
Skiing or Snowboarding
Watch a movie
Have a water fight
Watch a sunset
When was the last time that you truly laughed because you were truly happy or just having fun? If you can't think instantly of a time, it has been way to long! If you can be willing to try and find the humor and joy in things instead of getting upset, day to day trials will become simple tiny speed bumps. Our perspectives will change, and we will live a happier life day to day.

Gratitude Journals
"Expressing gratitude on a daily basis helps us to keep perspective in difficult times, and reminds us of our bountiful journey during good times. Journaling keeps us in touch with our inner life and establishes a path for our individual journey."
It's simple!!
Everyday write down 3 things you are grateful for. They can be anything from the simplest moments to a significant event. The more you look for things to be grateful for, the more you will find. This might be difficult at first, because you are doing something different. But instead of taking little things for granted, you are putting thoughts and words to them.
Searching for things in your life to be grateful for is not always easy. We all have days where we think everything goes wrong! Reflect upon the things in your life that make you smile, give you peace, or instill a feeling of joy- those little things can make ALL the difference!
some examples of things to be grateful for are....
- Being alive
-Temples
-Chocolate!
-Having Dreams and Goals
-Scriptures or Inspirational Material
-A Computer
-Living in such a beautiful place
-Being able to read
-Family and friends
The list can go on and on. At 1st it may seem simple, or immediate tangible things that you are writing about. But the more you look for, once again the more you find. This leads to writing about who we really our, our families, our innermost thoughts and dreams, about our communities and what is going on in the world around us.
Some ideas for deeper topics may be....
- I feel strongly and deeply about...
-People who have touched my life are...
-Spiritual experiences I have had...
-What I did to brighten someones day...
-Goals and Ideas for a better tomorrow...
I can justify that a Gratitude Journal could change the quality of your life beyond belief. It can change a hurting, grieving heart into having the smallest bit of hope. Turning your perspective into a better tomorrow, even a better today! As the months pass and you fill your journal with blessings an inner shift will occur. Soon you will be delighted to discover how content and hopeful you are feeling. As you focus on the abundance rather than on the lack in your life, you will be designing a wonderful new blueprint for the future. This sense of fulfillment is gratitude at work, transforming your dreams into reality.
Gratitude unlocks the fullness of life
Gratitude turns what we have into enough and more. It turns denial into acceptance, chaos into order, confusion to clarity. It can turn a meal into a feast, a house into a home, a stranger into a friend. Gratitude makes sense of our past, brings peace for today, and creates a vision for tomorrow!"
I want to challenge everyone that reads this into starting their own gratitude journal. What a better time to start than right before thanksgiving. Share things you are grateful for with us, and see the progress you make daily by looking for the small and simple things, that can make all the difference and start that journey of stepping forward into a happier life.
Why I am starting this blog....
I am so excited to have a place to share the information and tools I have learned and am using to take that next step to a better life!! I have had a transformation or as some may say a shift in the past few years into a person I am proud to be. I went from a place of being lost, confused and with low self esteem, to where I am now. A strong confident woman, proud of who I am and the journey I am on. You may ask, what was the change? Simply.... it was ME. You can't grow, change or prosper further in life until YOU choose to do so. By broadening your perspectives and changing any negative thoughts into positive uplifting ones, I believe you can live a new life.
I started going to a foot zoner/energy worker about 4 years ago. My first "session" was because I was dealing with endometriosis and ovarian cysts quite frequently and was really looking for any relief besides a surgical method. I had been trying to get pregnant and had heard of someone that could maybe help. Going completely blindly into something I didn't know a lot about, I decided to try a foot zoning session. While I was there I soon realized this wasn't going to be a peaceful, relaxing situation. She ended popping the cysts through my feet! Breaking each one up with her finger nail or knuckle. It was excruciating! After the treatment I did have some side affects and didn't feel great for about a week. The following Monday I scheduled a ultrasound to have "proof" if the pain I endured was actually worth it! And surprisingly enough... IT HAD WORKED! After that point I ended up getting pregnant with my beautiful little boy 3 months later. I knew at that point there was something to this...and that was my beginning with foot zoning and energy work.
Four years later, I am now a foot zoner/energy worker myself. And I LOVE what I do. It took me this long to be ready and receptive enough to the things I needed to make this amazing transition. I went through a really tough divorce, was a single mom of 2 working as a hairstylist for a year and a half, all the while doing the Wedofeet seminars and every energy class I could get my hands on.It was a really hard time in my life. Leaning on close family and friends to pull all three of us through. thankfully coming through the process a better mother, wife and most importantly a better me. I am now married to an amazing man that loves and supports everything I do. Sometimes calls me his voodoo wife... but loves and accepts me all the same. So grateful for the trials and triumphs that have gotten me to a place of being able to help those around me.
So What is foot zoning!??
Believe me, I was the first person to ask what in the world?? Your going to help me feel better by rubbing my feet?? Hopefully this will help explain the basics.
Foot Zone Balancing is a method believed to correct and renew the entire body at a cellular level.
From the beginning, each cell in our bodies has been programmed with immortal memory, meaning that the cell has the knowledge and capability of renewing itself. Our DNA pattern holds a perfect blueprint of our body and is able to heal and rebuild the perfect cell. We daily become subjected to a host of toxins, from the air we breathe, to the food we eat, and the water we drink. Compounded with these toxins we regularly experience health robbing stress and it unquestionably takes a toll on us. Foot Zone Balancing is a method believed to correct and renew the entire body at a cellular level enabling the body to become rejuvenated allowing our original DNA patterns to be reconnected.
In recent years there has been a surge of interest in hands-on healing techniques. As people become disillusioned with modern medicine and the possible side effects with drug-based methods of healing, they seek other ways to access their bodies to get the healing results they desire. People today are rediscovering that nature has always provided us with the means to heal ourselves and maintain good health and balance. Our bodies know how to heal and have been programmed to do so from the beginning. Foot Zoning balances and points our bodies in the right direction to allow this natural process to take place!

The Feet as a map
Within each person's feet lie detailed and complex signal systems. This signal system is thought to be connected to every part of the human anatomy - the circulatory, lymphatic, nervous, skeletal, endocrine, digestive, respiratory, reproductive, and muscular systems, as well as the emotional and spiritual bodies. These signals are believed to run throughout our bodies, especially to the extremities, the ears, hands and especially our feet. Extensive research has proven the feet to be very accurate in correlating the mapped reflex points to the systems of the body. With this mapping, a trained and certified Foot Zone Balance practitioner is able to access the body. The knowledge of the reflexes on the feet and other extremities has been around for thousands of years. It has come and gone with the rise and fall of civilizations. In more modern terminology the body is accessed through the feet similar to the way a computer is accessed with a keyboard.Foot Zone Balancing is a method believed to correct and renew the entire body at a cellular level.
From the beginning, each cell in our bodies has been programmed with immortal memory, meaning that the cell has the knowledge and capability of renewing itself. It is time we take health and wellness matters into our own hands
The art of activating reflex points on the feet to make corrections in the body can be traced back many thousands of years. Pictographs from Egyptian tombs dating back to 3000 BC show people having treatments on their hands and feet. This practice was shown alongside other medical disciplines of that time like pharmacology, midwifery, dentistry, embalming and circumcisions. Paintings from China also show very similar treatments being done on the feet. However, because of the uniform development worldwide of accessing reflex points on the feet one culture cannot be given sole credit for its evolution. In recent years there has been a surge of interest in hands-on healing techniques. As people become disillusioned with modern medicine and the possible side effects with drug-based methods of healing, they seek other ways to access their bodies to get the healing results they desire.
